| Home Committees Governance Membership Forms |
|
The Bucks County Community College Federation of Teachers, Local 2238, is guided by two primary governance documents, our Constitution and Bylaws. The Constitution defines the objectives of the local, membership and voting privileges, and the duties of officers and departmental representatives. It delineates regular and special meetings of the local, establishes parliamentary authority, and lays out the procedure by which the Constitution can be amended by the membership. The Constitution identifies standing committees of the local, including their composition, meetings, and responsibilities. Finally, addresses elections of the local. The By-Laws define members in good standing, the conduct of business, elections of academic area representatives, qualifications for office, provisions for audit, and amending the By-Laws.
